Key Safety Introduces Safety Training

Key Safety offers awareness and certificate level training in both computer based and instructor-led formats, as well as new technologies for skill-building and verification.
Safety training is often a regulatory requirement in many industries to equip you with the knowledge and skills to handle job hazards you may encounter while you work. Standards driven by Process Safety Management (PSM), Safety and Environmental Management Systems (SEMS), and the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations have placed greater burdens on companies to demonstrate employee competency. At Key Safety, we are developing new methodologies for assisting companies with meeting their compliance challenges.
In general we learn more efficiently in different ways. Some learn better by seeing rather than reading; hands-on vs. virtual application. With these differences in mind it is important that training providers offer options which can be customized for clients that need to provide variety, or a blended learning approach, to ensure learning impact. .
Key Safety offers both computer-based training (CBT) and instructor-led training (ILT) formats in English and Spanish. Both options are customizable for your company’s specific needs. CBT training is available through a learning management system (LMS) that allows you to assign job-role specific learning modules, track employees training needs and report training completions. This option allows employees the flexibility to complete the assigned modules at any computer with a remote login.
ILT training has the ability to combine all learning elements (listening, seeing and hands-on experience) in a classroom setting for learners. Learners often experience greater interaction and more detailed knowledge retention in an ILT setting. Both CBT and ILT training can have knowledge assessments to track competency and Key Safety can work with you to create more advanced skill-building exercises to ensure more well-round competency development for your employees.
